I served with the Peace Corps in Mongolia from 2008 until 2011. You can read more about my service here at advancehumanity.com/peacecorps.
At the end of my first two years I finished writing the first edition of the Unofficial Peace Corps Volunteer Handbook. It was designed to bring together Volunteers serving around the world to help one another through their Peace Corps service by sharing lessons, anticipating challenges and working together as a worldwide community. I hope that it is a valuable resource that adds to the unique and incredible experiences of each Volunteer who reads and writes in it. It's also the only book with proceeds that go to fund Peace Corps projects worldwide.
The project began in 2007 when I was applying to Peace Corps and I published the first edition in August 2010 as I finished my second year of service. I hope to release updates regularly and make it the most up-to-date guide on Peace Corps available. Please share your thoughts and reviews of the handbook with me anytime, I'd love to hear from you!
